Malir Expressway Project
The Malir Expressway is intended to be a much-needed infrastructure project that is likely to improve the growing traffic issues as well as connecting different key locations in Karachi. In November 2024, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah paid a visit to the construction site. During the visit, he ordered that work on the construction of the site be sped up. His orders included the completion of construction for the first phase by December 30th 2024, and the remainder of the project by the set deadlines. Even though there are some difficulties, government officials and project managers believe that, by the end of 2025, the expressway will be functional.
